In the 1-st quater Obuv Rossii increased proceeds from its online stores by 37%
Obuv Rossii Group of Companies reflects on the first quarter in e-commerce. During the first three months of 2017, the Company increased proceeds from its online stores by 37%. There are four stores currently: westfalika.ru, westfalika-home.ru, emilia-estra.ru, and rossita.com; the traffic has grown by 24%. As a result, it was possible to achieve the growth due to a conversion increase.
“We explain the growth of main indicators by the fact that we have improved the content of our online store websites. Due to the optimization of processes within the online sales department, we had prepared all materials about products before the main season started, and they were presented on the website in full,” says Sofya Makarevich, head of the Internet sales line in Obuv Rossii GC. “We improved photos and text displaying now every pair of shoes from all shooting angles, with a detailed description. We started presenting the products on models, which influences the sales positively also.”
As in 2016, Novosibirsk, Sverdlovsk and Omsk Regions became leaders according to the traffic in the first quarter. Yekaterinburg became the leader in sales. The most popular product in the first three months of 2017 was women’s winter boots with a flat sole, which corresponds to the existing trends, when more and more people choose comfortable footwear of the casual style.
The tendency of growing mobile traffic preserves: during the first quarter, it increased by 7% having achieved 43%. Taking into consideration this trend, the Company prepares to launch revised versions of Westfalika and Rossita online stores, which will start working already by summer.
